As a Sarasota native, I'm delighted to offer entertainment to our growing city. In my youth I developed a passion for music and learned to play guitar and sing. My most successful venture in performing live is with my band Spark Notes which started in 2010, and I began hosting karaoke shortly after. My last "real job" was in 2011; since then I've expanded to host trivia, bingo, and DJ for a plethora of clients.
What excites me most is not only the caliber of the venues and owners we service, but also our growing team at Sing SRQ. I look forward to continue offering these audience engaging services and I look forward to expanding our footprint. Please meet our awesome hosts below! ;D
Sam Cohen

Sam has been a DJ in the Sarasota area for years, focusing on private events and house parties. His singing voice will typically surprise any
audience: one of the main reasons why Sing SRQ wanted him to join! The range of his karaoke tunes is extensive...from 80's hair metal to a good ol' country line dance: definitely a lot of fun to witness!

The details of my life are quite inconsequential, but I’ll share anyway. I moved to SRQ to continue my practice in the fields of Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology in late 2022
I'm a Chicago native, sports enthusiast, and gamer for life. I sing along to the radio with every song I know. We will debate about professional wrestling if you're incorrect. Star Wars is for the birds. You'll hear my unique taste in music when I host karaoke and I guarantee it'll make you feel good. My goal is to create an inclusive atmosphere with positive energy for our great crowds: when I'm hosting, get ready for a party!
Daniel Carreaga

Daniel loves to sing, host karaoke, host trivia, and spend time with his family. Hosting events is a part-time skill but he's great at it. His main endeavor is helping his clients find their forever homes. If you're in the market, contact him for all your real estate needs!
Melina Murillo
Goes by: DJ WHAT?!
DJ WHAT?! specializes in singing unique tunes from Stevie Wonder, to Linkin Park, and might even jump into a song she's never tried to help a singer out. She loves to travel and has done so extensively in the past. Currently she is on indefinite hiatus.
Aaron Siegel
Goes by: A. A. RON / MC SEAGULL
Aaron became a father in 2024 and his main focus is family life. In his spare time he can be found hosting trivia or bingo with EventsRQ but his premier talent is jazz guitar. Events, bookings, and performances come and go but as of October 2025 he can be found weekly on Saturdays at the St. Regis in Longboat Key performing with an eclectic group of jazz professionals.
